What We Do

Removals Done Right, From the First Cut to Final Cleanup

The Pacific Northwest grows some of the largest trees in the country. Douglas firs and western red cedars push past 100 feet across the Snoqualmie Valley, and when one needs to come down — close to a home, near power lines, leaning the wrong way — the job has to be done right the first time.

Our crew handles everything from small backyard takedowns to crane-assisted removals of massive, compromised trees. Brock Haskins is on-site for nearly every job, which means owner-level care from the first walk-through to final cleanup.

Free estimates. Honest pricing. Fully licensed and insured.

Local Knowledge

Trees We Remove Across the Valley

The Snoqualmie Valley grows some of the largest trees in the country. We work on every species common to the Pacific Northwest, and we know how each one behaves on the way down.

Douglas Fir

The valley standard — many push past 100 feet. Crane removals are often the safest option on tight lots.

Western Red Cedar

Top dieback and thinning canopies have been documented across western Washington. Common reason for removal.

Bigleaf Maple

Wide canopies take a beating from wet snow and ice loads. Large limb failures are common before full removal.

Black Cottonwood

Fast-growing floodplain tree along the Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers — known to break, especially as it matures.

Red Alder

Aging alder stands across the valley are reaching the end of their natural life and turning into hazard trees.

Hemlock & Pine

Common across upland parcels — we handle full-size conifer removals on rural acreage and wooded lots.

A working knowledge of the Pacific Northwest is part of doing this job right. Our crew assesses lean, soil conditions, and proximity to structures before any cut. If you have a tree you are unsure about, an honest assessment from an experienced arborist is the cheapest insurance you can buy.

Frequently Asked

Tree Removal FAQ

The most common questions we get about tree removal.

How much does tree removal cost?
Every job is different. Cost depends on tree size, lean, proximity to structures and power lines, and access for equipment. We give every customer a free, exact, no-pressure estimate before any work begins.
Do you handle very large trees?
Yes. We regularly remove 80- to 120-foot Douglas firs and cedars. For large or compromised trees, we bring in a crane to lift sections out safely, which is usually faster and lower-risk than climbing.
Can you remove a tree close to my house or power lines?
That is most of what we do. Our crew uses technical rigging and precision cutting to bring trees down piece by piece in tight quarters, with no damage to your property.
Do you respond to emergency calls?
Yes, 24/7. Fallen trees, storm damage, and hanging limbs are handled around the clock, every day of the year.
Do you grind the stump after removal?
Stump grinding is offered as an add-on. We grind stumps below grade and clean up the chips so your yard is ready for whatever comes next.
Will you clean up everything after the removal?
Always. We chip and haul all brush, branches, and debris, and rake the work area clean. You do not lift a finger.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
It depends on your city or county. Many municipalities require a permit for trees above a certain diameter. We are happy to walk you through what we know, but you should confirm requirements for your specific address with your local planning department.
