"Had a massive brush pile in the back from a year of yard projects. Haskins came out, chipped the whole thing in an afternoon, and left the chips spread along our trail. Honestly one of the easiest services I've ever booked."

What Happens to the Chips

Fresh wood chips are useful. Or they are not. Either way works — you decide before we start.

Free Mulch

Leave Them On-Site

Fresh wood chips make excellent mulch for garden beds, around other trees, or on trails. We can leave them in a neat pile right where you want them.

Landscaping Ready

Spread Where You Want

Need them spread along a fence line, around landscaping, or in a back corner? We can place the chips where they will be useful right away.

Zero Trace

Haul Them Away

Prefer the property completely clean? We chip everything into the truck and haul it off-site. Nothing left behind but a tidy yard.

Frequently Asked

Chipping FAQ

The most common questions we get about chipping and cleanup.

Do you only chip brush from your own jobs?
Not at all. We chip brush from any source — debris piles from your own yard work, storm damage you cleared, land clearing brush, or material from a contractor who left it behind. If it is woody and on your property, we can chip it.
How big are the branches you can chip?
Our commercial-grade chippers handle everything from small twigs up to substantial limb wood. For larger logs and trunk sections, we have separate equipment and approaches — we will walk you through it during the estimate.
What do you do with the wood chips?
Your choice. We can leave them on-site in a neat pile for landscaping mulch, spread them where you want them, or haul them away entirely. Many customers keep the chips for garden beds and trails.
Are the chips good for mulch?
Fresh wood chips make excellent mulch around established trees, in garden paths, and on landscape beds. The one place to be careful is around vegetable gardens and young plants — fresh chips temporarily tie up nitrogen as they break down. For those uses, let the chips age for a few months first.
How much does chipping cost?
Cost depends on the volume, access for the chipper, and whether the chips are hauled or left on-site. For brush from a job we are already doing, chipping is folded into the job. For standalone chipping work, we will give you an exact quote at the estimate.
Can you access my back yard / acreage?
In most cases, yes. Our chippers are designed to be towed in close to the work, and we work on everything from in-town lots to rural acreage. If access is genuinely too tight, we will plan around it during the estimate.
Do you do commercial chipping for HOAs and property managers?
Yes. We work with HOAs, property managers, and commercial sites across the Snoqualmie Valley and Greater Eastside. Recurring service available.
